Personalized Bridal Hair
Every bridal package includes a personalized hair preview - a two-hour appointment at my Lakewood, OH studio. This is our time to meet before the wedding, discuss your vision, and collaborate to create your wedding day hairstyle. The hair preview typically occurs 60-30 days before the wedding.
Throughout the process, you’ll have clear communication and full access to your contract and invoice at all times, with email support whenever questions arise.
Two to four weeks before the wedding, I’ll confirm your customized wedding-day schedule. Everything from arrival through finishing touches, so we stay on time. From there, you get to relax and enjoy the moment.
Wedding Day
About 90 days before the wedding, I’ll reach out to schedule your 2-hour bridal preview. I recommend booking closer to your wedding date, once your dress, veil, and accessories are finalized.
During the preview, we’ll create your personalized wedding look. We’ll review your inspiration, discuss what you love (and don’t), try your top two styles, and walk through the wedding-day timeline.
Bridal Preview
It’s important to me to get to know you, your wedding, and the look you envision, and to ensure we’re a great fit. During the consultation call, we’ll discuss your services, hair inspiration, a tentative timeline, and any questions you may have.
If we’re a good fit, a signed contract and $500 retainer secure your date. The remaining balance is due two weeks before the wedding.

Do you travel?
Yes, travel is included for getting-ready locations within The Greater Cleveland Area. Travel outside will be $1 per mile (round-trip). Travel 1+ hours will require a hotel stay.
How many people can you accommodate?
Headcount max of 7 services total. Megan Cox is an independent artist; additional artists are not provided. Second artist recommendations are available. Please email megancoxbridal@gmail.com for recommendations.
What if I don't have a final service count?
It is crucial to confirm the number of services as soon as possible; however, if someone in your party is undecided, I would leave them out at the time of booking.
Can I make changes to my contract after it has been signed?
Service additions can be made up to 60 days before your wedding and must be approved. Removing services is not allowed after signing and paying the non-refundable retainer. Have a change in your getting-ready location? No worries, I will update your contract and invoice accordingly.
What if I don't have a bridal party?
No bridal party? No worries - I would still love to be a part of your day. Please fill out the inquiry form with details about your day.
Will you travel outside of Ohio?
Traveling more than 1+ hour from the Greater Cleveland Area will require a hotel stay. If traveling outside Ohio, the client will pay all travel expenses, including flights, meals, and hotel accommodations.
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as you know your date and wedding venue! Weddings are booked at least 12 months in advance (or more), with Saturday bookings first. Book your hair and makeup artists ASAP!
How do I reserve my wedding date?
I reserve on a first-come, first-served basis. A $500 non-refundable retainer and signed contract are required to secure your wedding date.
How many looks can I see during my preview?
Most brides have time to see 1 to 2 looks during their 2-hour preview appointment. For brides interested in Hollywood waves, you likely only get to see this look. Try to narrow down your inspiration photos before the appointment.
Can my mom schedule a preview appointment?
Yes - anyone receiving day-of services can schedule a preview appointment before the wedding. All previews are $250 and last 2 hours. Please head to my additional styling services page.
What do I receive in my wedding prep guide + kit?
This exclusive hair kit curated by MCB includes select products designed to create the perfect foundation for styling. These products keep your hair feeling clean, light, and fresh - the perfect canvas for styling.
Can I bring my mom or A friend to my preview?
I recommend attending your preview appointment alone. This helps us customize a look you love together. No children, please.
Is the preview a separate cost, and how long does it last?
One 2-hour preview is included in your experience. All previews are held at my studio in Lakewood, OH.
When should I schedule my bridal preview?
I will reach out 90 days before your wedding to schedule your bridal preview. I recommend scheduling your preview closer to the wedding, as by then all the details will have come together.
Can I have a preview before I book?
Due to an influx of inquiries, a paid retainer and signed contract are required to schedule a bridal preview. During the consultation call, I am happy to discuss any concerns you may have.

I plan to have junior maids and a flower girl in my bridal party. How much are these services?
I do not offer flower girl hair services, so sorry about that! All guests are $200
What do you need on the wedding day?
A large table and lots of natural light for your hair and makeup artist is a HUGE win when deciding your getting-ready location. Other than a table, I will bring everything else I need!

Bridal Previews are required and are included in the experience. This will give us a chance to discuss the details of your hair and create your wedding-day look. It will give us both an idea of what to expect on your wedding day.
How do I prep my hair for the wedding day?
Each bride will receive a wedding prep kit with select products curated by MCB, along with a relaxing morning-of blowout to further prep their hair for styling. I’ll apply essential products to enhance smoothness, volume, and body, ensuring a perfect foundation for your bridal look.
What if I have curly hair?
I love when brides/bridesmaids wear their natural texture! Wash and use curly products as normal. If you decide not to, I will recommend that you wash and dry your hair using a brush to smooth out your texture as much as you can.
My bridesmaids are paying for their services. Can they pay you separately?
The final invoice is due 2 weeks before the wedding and must be paid by the bride. (Need a gift idea? Gift your bridal party hair services!)
How much time do you need on the wedding day?
I will need 45 minutes per bridesmaid/mother and 1.5 hours for the bride. I will arrive 15 minutes before the start of services to set up and allow 15 minutes for final touches at the end.

Can I use my clip-in Extensions?
Yes, a temporary extension application is included. Please make sure all extensions are clean and detangled before services begin.
I need a getting-ready location. Should I get ready at my venue?
I recommend a hotel suite, air bnb, or any other local large rental space. If you choose to get ready at your venue make sure you check what time you can get into the space. Many venues don't let you in until 10 AM.
How long do they take to come in?
All extension pieces take 5-7 business days to arrive. We will schedule your pick-up at the time of your initial consultation.
If I can't come in before my preview, can I purchase a piece at my preview?
Yes, all pieces take about 5 to 7 days to arrive after ordering. If needed, we can expedite shipping for an additional cost.
Should the consultation appointment be separate from my bridal preview?
Yes, I highly recommend coming in before your preview appointment. This way, you can use your temporary extensions during your preview appointment.
How do I purchase Temporary Extensions?
Schedule an in-person consultation HERE. During this appointment, you can sample different extension pieces to determine which fit is right for you.
If I purchase extensions, do I still need to pay for the consultation?
Each consultation is 30 minutes long and costs $50. If you choose not to purchase, the consultation fee is due at the end of the appointment. If extensions are purchased during the appointment, you will not be charged the consultation fee.
